How Donating Works:
As we raise money, we hope to help Lupus patients with hardships that make their daily struggles with Lupus that much harder. If we can take the burden off of them in any small way, that will help. Ultimately, we want to be the boots on the ground and be there beside our Lupus warriors as we help fight daily battles alongside them. We thank you for your support and donation toward our goal and helping those with Lupus!
Lupus Lotus Warriors is a nonprofit program through fiscal sponsorship with Humanitarian Social Innovations, a 501(c)3 public charity. (46-4779591). Questions regarding the relationship should be directed to office@hsifiscalsponsor.org.

You can mail a check directly to Humanitarian Social Innovations. Checks must be made out to Humanitarian Social Innovations with Lupus Lotus Warriors in the Memo line so that Humanitarian Social Innovations knows where to credit the funds.

What is a Fiscal Sponsor:
A fiscal sponsor is an established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides legal, financial, and administrative oversight to projects, allowing them to receive tax-deductible donations. It acts as a “parent” organization, managing funds and compliance, which enables, projects and programs to skip the cost of forming their own nonprofits.
The relationship works by having the sponsor (in this case Humanitarian Social Innovations) to receive donations on behalf of the Lupus Lotus Warriors while Humanitarian Social Innovations manages the funds and ensures compliance with tax laws.
